I hope there are still people outchea because I have been M. I. A but I promise that I have a good excuse : I'm in university now! 2017 was my gap year and that is why I could keep up with my weekly uploads but now that everything has been switched up and a lot has happened in a short space of time like emotional, financial, mental, physical stress and a little bit of drama 🙄. How I Trim My Natural Hair

If you follow me on  Instagram then you have probably seen that I have been rocking a mini puff and I'm excited that my hair is growing like a weed but I have to pull myself back and remind myself that I need a trim. As much as I love my current length I also have to trim my hair because a delayed trim can make me go back to a TWA in a matter of minutes because I would have to cut the damage that traveled all the way up my strands and so to avoid that I need to trim. Oh by the way, my hair is in the awkward stage and I have been incorporating a couple of protective styles. There are a few ways to trim your natural hair. I used two methods that are quite popular. I make sure to detangle small sections and I used : Spritz bottle Leave in conditioner Detangle brush Pik .. Update : My Health And Confidence Journey + Going Vegan

Happy new year beautiful people , I know I'm late but I hope it still counts. A few days ago I made my way to the gym and I just felt strange , like I was lacking something  , I'm pretty sure you know that feeling , it's that feeling when it feels like you the only person noticing the change and everyone doesn't see anything and you go around asking people "do you see it though" , that is exactly how I felt a couple of days ago. I made my way to the gym and after my workout I took a warm steamy shower and I felt uneasy when I saw my shadow. I looked a bit closer and questioned myself like : " could it be ? " and I looked a bit closer and I finally found why I felt peculiar that day . My thighs aren't touching anymore , they touch just a little near my pelvic area though , and my muffin top is getting smaller. I also couldn't believe it. All that hard work is finally paying off. Let's Talk About My Naps + Searching For My Staple Products.

A couple of days ago I was compiling a topic list and as I was going through it , I realized that I have all these topics where I share my views and recommendations but you really don't know much about my hair and I have a natural hair blog 😳 . . . Oh well , today I took out the time to talk about my naps and I figured that this would be important if you are wondering what my hair texture is and if our hair would react differently/similar to certain products. The most important thing is probably texture so I have multiple textures on my head. I have only described my hair as coily and that doesn't really tell you much because some people with looser textures describe their hair as coily. So my hair is : 3c at the nape / maybe my coils are a little looser there. I have cut a couple of curls back there because I thought that it was heat damage .
