Update : My Health And Confidence Journey + Water Fasting ?

I go to the gym quite often now and when I get there I work my butt off. I make sure I leave the gym after doing ALL the machines I promised myself that I'd do. And I repeat the machines three times and sometimes four times , if I still have time. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF SABOTAGING MYSELF. It really doesn't produce any results so I figured I should stop fooling myself , so I go to the gym even if I am tired AF or whether it's boiling hot. I make sure that I go there and do whatever I promised myself to do. I love how my body burns when I'm on the treadmill , the feeling is worth a million dollars. I never thought I'd be so inlove with the gym , I spend about 4 hours at the gym and it's heaven . Yoga is bae. I love yoga fam. However the cobra pose has probably got to be the worst pose ever I totally dislike it but my favorite is the crescent lunge. There are still more yoga poses to do and I am so excited. My scalp massages are going quite well. I somet

I Dyed My Natural Hair

Hello kinks and coils 💜 I hate what I did to my hair. I really do . I was foolish thinking that this dye would look bomb.com , instead I ended up with a mess on my head that I have to walk around with as a token of my shame 😒 . So I coloured my hair a week ago on Friday and I thought I'd be slaying everyone but clearly I was wrong. I despise everything about it. I planned to use purple the first time but I became insecure about the attention I'd receive. I'm on a confidence / self love journey and I don't want to be abrupt with it because I'll only be fooling myself. So I decided to tone it down a little and I wanted my hair to be "brown-ish" with a hint of blonde so that's why I chose 'caramel blonde' which now looks like "copper" 😒 . Inecto Caramel Blonde  This color is terrible. I hate it. I really want to cut it. My hair had a beautiful sheen , it was super soft , jet black , and even when I didn

Best Moisturizer For Low Porosity 4B/C Natural Hair

I am always stressing moisture because it is really essential and I have had dry hair before and it's a pain. It was torture touching my hair and it felt like a steel wool , it would break like crazy and it was just annoying having to deal with dry hair. To combat my dry hair I do a bomb.com spritz for my natural hair I make sure to add ingredients that will help my hair thrive so that I can stunt outchea 👌  . Water works great too but it has to be warm because if it is cold then it's just not going to work on my low porosity hair. AVJ I love AVJ. I underestimated the power of AVJ and it has worked wonders for my hair. I have been using it for a while now. But I think you will be just fine with water. As long as your moisturizer has water or a liquid base then you are good to go. I buy the Nature's Choice Aloe Vera Juice at Dischem.  Water Of course , the best moisturiser ever ! The AVJ I use is thick so I have to dilute it and make sure that it c

Waddup kinks and coils 💜 I hope you are doing well 😊 I looove moisturising my hair. I think a good moisturizing routine or regimen can make or break your natural hair journey , literally. Sealing in the moisture is just as important as using a liquid as your moisturizer. And I got you with some affordable leave in conditioners. Check them out. Long & Lasting Leave-In Conditioner. I have used this and I have a review about it. You can buy it at Clicks for R31.99 .  Afri True Leave In Conditioner . This product is exclusive at Clicks and you can get it for R34.95. Au Naturale Afro-Moisturizing Butter.  I am going cRaZy over their knot out conditioner! I think I am going gaga about the scent more than anything. Either way this produ

The Joys Of Having Locs

Image
I was loc'd for 5 years and this is just me going back to the past a little and enjoying things I don't enjoy now with loose natural hair. I used to hate wash day. I still do , but with locs I'd be in and out. No DC , no detangling , no pre poo ( I didn't think they were necessary). The only mission on wash day when I had locs was to make sure that I use a good amount of shampoo and concentrate it on my scalp and massage it all over my scalp. Ahh that was the life. And can we talk about products? Yeah the only thing I needed when I was loc'd was a good shampoo and a good oil and that was it! When I detangled my locs I came across a lot of products that I wasn't even aware of. I loove cold and rainy weather . I could walk straight into the rain and my hair would still be the same length and I didn't have to worry that I'd end up with tangles and so on  however , when that lint got stuck into my locs it was torture trying to get it out.
