Switch It Up A Little . . .

Since I am always growing and always evolving I am thinking of changing a little something with my hair.


So I have my hair in a tapered kinda cut. It wasn't intentional I just kept cutting (because I am scissor happy ) then I realized that my sides were shorter than my crown area and then I stopped so right now it looks like a tapered cut , you can read all about it here.

I was going through Google and I saw some really cool undercuts  .

Here are some hella dope undercuts that I found.






Yeah. Remember when I wasn't about the length anymore ? Now I just want this hair to be long and healthy of course so that I can do loads more with it.

And no I am not saying short hair is not versatile . I am just lazy to style my hair and so putting it in a ponytail when its long enough or leaving it moisturised in my tiny little braids is good enough for me .

 I think it would look better with long hair (on me) because if it looks Dracula ,  I can hide it with a pony tail. But if short hair looks good on you then yippeee !.

I think I also want to dye the ends of my hair purple . However I think I'm going dye my ends sooner.I want to do one of these  cuts when I get to BSL  yeah that is a very long time. But I know will get there real quick cause my hair thrives when it is moisturised and left alone.

I still have to contemplate this .

Don't know why I didn't do this with my locs tho .

The Urge To Color My Natural Hair...

If you have been following me for a while then you probably know that my hair has been through a lot. I have had a terrible dye job and there was   too much damage so I had to cut my hair and go back to a TWA, my hair grew back eventually and I had to cut it back into a TWA again because I still had the rough, damaged and porous ends. How I Trim My Natural Hair

If you follow me on  Instagram then you have probably seen that I have been rocking a mini puff and I'm excited that my hair is growing like a weed but I have to pull myself back and remind myself that I need a trim. As much as I love my current length I also have to trim my hair because a delayed trim can make me go back to a TWA in a matter of minutes because I would have to cut the damage that traveled all the way up my strands and so to avoid that I need to trim. Oh by the way, my hair is in the awkward stage and I have been incorporating a couple of protective styles. There are a few ways to trim your natural hair. I used two methods that are quite popular. I make sure to detangle small sections and I used : Spritz bottle Leave in conditioner Detangle brush Pik .. Hello?

I hope there are still people outchea because I have been M. I. A but I promise that I have a good excuse : I'm in university now! 2017 was my gap year and that is why I could keep up with my weekly uploads but now that everything has been switched up and a lot has happened in a short space of time like emotional, financial, mental, physical stress and a little bit of drama 🙄. I had to take a digital cleanse and concentrate on some other things because they required most of my time and attention. I had to move to the North West and I had to adapt to the location, language, weather and a new schedule and I literally had no time to do anything besides study and do all my chores.  One thing that has drastically changed is the way I handle my finances. Update : My Health And Confidence Journey + Going Vegan

Happy new year beautiful people , I know I'm late but I hope it still counts. A few days ago I made my way to the gym and I just felt strange , like I was lacking something  , I'm pretty sure you know that feeling , it's that feeling when it feels like you the only person noticing the change and everyone doesn't see anything and you go around asking people "do you see it though" , that is exactly how I felt a couple of days ago.
